Women in Tech

From learning to code at an early age to professional events highlighting the women who are shaping tech today, 42 Lausanne is developing initiatives to make the digital professions more accessible and visible to girls and women.

Raising awareness and inspiring

The campus regularly organises initiatives to help people discover programming and digital technologies in an accessible setting:

  • Workshops and introductory courses for girls aged between 12 and 17, during a week's introductory course during the school holidays.

  • The discovery pool for women, which provides a week's training in coding. This is often what triggers the desire to go further and gives you the courage to sign up for the online tests.

  • The special online test sessions for women, which allow those who want to follow the 42 programme to take the tests online on campus with other candidates and with the teaching team to encourage you.

  • 100% women events that bring together professionals from a particular tech sector.

The aim of these initiatives is to make the technology professions more visible and more accessible to women and younger generations.
