Articles of Association of the 42 Switzerland Association
42 Switzerland is a non-profit association governed by Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. It is politically neutral and non-denominational.
Its registered office is in Renens, in the canton of Vaud. It is established for an indefinite period.
The association is committed to a mission of general interest aimed at contributing to the development of digital skills and promoting professional inclusion in Switzerland.
Objectives
42 Switzerland pursues the following objectives:
1- Accessible digital training
The association offers digital training that is free of charge and open to anyone who has successfully passed the selection process. This approach aims to ensure equitable access to digital skills, regardless of candidates’ financial resources.
2- Integration into the labour market
42 Switzerland works to facilitate the professional integration of its graduates, focusing on the skills they have acquired rather than their academic background or personal history.
3- Promotion of innovative teaching methods
The association supports and develops alternative teaching approaches tailored to the challenges of the digital age. These are based in particular on collaboration, autonomy and experimentation.
Resources
The association’s resources may come from, in particular:
donations and bequests;
public grants;
membership fees;
fees charged for continuing professional development services;
any other source authorised by the legislation in force.
The funds are used exclusively for the fulfilment of its statutory objectives.
Organisation and governance
42 Switzerland is structured around the following bodies:
The General Assembly, the supreme body, comprising all members, with responsibility in particular for the admission of members, the approval of accounts, the adoption of the budget and amendments to the Articles of Association;
The Committee, responsible for the management of day-to-day affairs and the implementation of decisions;
The Auditors, responsible for auditing the accounts.
The members of the Committee serve in a voluntary capacity, subject to reimbursement of their actual expenses.
Membership
Any individual may become a member upon co-optation in accordance with the procedures laid down in the Articles of Association and subject to approval by the General Assembly.
Membership entails compliance with the Articles of Association and a contribution to the smooth running of the association.
Commitment
42 Switzerland is committed to allocating all its resources to the pursuit of its public-interest objectives, within a transparent framework and in compliance with legal requirements.
Through its work, the association actively contributes to strengthening digital skills and employability by promoting innovative and inclusive educational models.
