192 Graduates Celebrated at the 2026 42 Lausanne Graduation Ceremony

42 Lausanne— Blog· 04 Jun 2026

On Wednesday 3 June 2026, 42 Lausanne celebrated the achievements of 192 students at its annual graduation ceremony, held at the Salle des spectacles in Renens. The event brought together the graduates, their families, loved ones, colleagues and friends for a moment of recognition and pride. Throughout the evening, applause accompanied those who had successfully completed the 42 Lausanne programme as they took to the stage.

Success built on perseverance

At 42 Lausanne, obtaining a diploma represents much more than simply completing a course. With a success rate of 65% and a course lasting on average nearly two years, each degree is a testament to significant commitment, a great capacity to adapt and a constant desire to learn.

Behind these 192 graduates lie thousands of hours devoted to problem-solving, project development, collaborative work and pushing oneself to the limit. 42’s teaching approach, based on peer learning and experimentation, enables each student to gradually build their technical and interpersonal skills in a demanding and stimulating environment.

An education accessible to all talented individuals

Since its inception, 42 Lausanne has upheld a firm belief: tuition fees should never be a barrier to the emergence of talent.

The course is therefore entirely free and open to all backgrounds, with no prior qualifications required. This approach enables people from diverse backgrounds to develop skills sought after in the digital sector and to help meet the growing demand for tech talent in our region.

A commitment made possible by our partners

This mission could not be achieved without the support of our partners, companies, foundations, institutions, patrons and donors.

Their trust and commitment enable 42 Lausanne to offer high-quality IT training accessible to as many people as possible and to contribute to the development of the digital skills required by our economic fabric and our technological sovereignty.
